How are the e-courses delivered?
The courses are delivered through a combination of email, PDF files and a private Flickr group. The course materials are delivered via email, with either an attached PDF or a PDF download for each lesson. I believe in making it easy for you to access the material and to keep it for future reference. I also believe that we can learn more through interaction with others, so there will be a private Flickr group for each course that will allow questions, discussion and sharing. You will need to set up a FREE FLICKR ACCOUNT if you don’t have one already in order to access the group.
How much instructor interaction is there?
I love interaction, I learn as much or more from teaching courses as my students! You’ll find me in the Flickr group daily, answering questions, joining in the discussion, commenting on your exercises (if desired) and encouraging you on your journey. I’m always available for private questions via email as well. I encourage everyone to participate, we all have something to add to the conversation and the courses are more interesting when there is good group participation.
How do I register?
When registration opens, you will find a button available for registration on the class description page. Payment is managed through Paypal, but you do not need a Paypal account to pay for the class. You can use a credit card to register without having a Paypal account.
Once you pay through Paypal, you will receive an email asking you to confirm your subscription to the class. Please click the link in that email to confirm, which completes the registration process. If you don’t see the confirmation email come right away, please check your spam folder. Be sure to add my email to your address book or safe senders list to help the process.
You will receive a welcome email after completing the registration process that includes more details on your course. If you have any questions or problems in the registration process, please contact me via email at kat [at] kateyestudio.com.
I want to register someone else as a gift, how do I do that?
Please contact me via email at kat [at] kateyestudio.com to work out the details of registration, since the automated system will not work correctly if you are purchasing a registration for someone else.
I’m not familiar with Flickr.com. How do I set up a Flickr account? Will what I share be public?
To start the sign up process for the free account, CLICK HERE. If you would like more details on their site in general, CLICK HERE. All of our interaction on Flickr will be in a private group available only to course participants, so you don’t have to worry about public sharing. You can upload your photos as private and only share them within the group, if desired.
Is there a cancellation policy?
You can cancel and receive a full refund of your paid registration any time before the course begins or during the first week of the course. After the first week, all registration fees are non-refundable.
