Early season grapes, in the Rhine River Valley in Germany. Filled with possibility, not yet ready for their intended purpose, but you know they will be. It’s just a matter of time.

Sometimes a photo is about a subject, but other times it’s about the light, or color, or shape of something. This one is about lines. I’m finding as I look back through my photos that I like lines, especially diagonal ones. It’s also about grape vines, growing on a hillside in Bacharach in the Rhine River Valley. But mostly it’s about lines. Alternating light and dark green across the frame. Squint your eyes, what do you see?
