Singapore = Yum

I’m in love with the food of Singapore, especially the “hawker” centers. You have your choice of open air food centers or indoor food courts, but they have this in common: multiple food booths to choose from, communal tables and amazing, inexpensive food. For anywhere from S$3-5 (US $2.50-4) you can get a full meal. And it’s good, freshly cooked, flavorful food.

Tonight I took the subway one stop from my hotel to Chinatown and ate at the food center. It was hot and humid and full of people. And oh. so. good.

    Singapore is my very favourite place for a holiday, and I have LOTS of photos…but none as good as these.

    Wow, that sounds delish! It must be hard to decide what to have.
