So, I’m back from vacation. Back to the normal routine. Here I sit on a Monday morning, debating the ways to approach this week, where I have a lot to do after two weeks away… Do I jump in with both feet, and just try to get as much done as possible? Or do I ease myself into it, focusing on the priority things and let the rest slide? How do you approach this situation?
My tendency is to jump in and work to get everything done, but that can stress me out. (Case in point – I couldn’t shut my brain off last night and didn’t get a good night’s sleep.) I think I’ll try the second option, since “easing” sounds so much nicer, but I’m not sure how I’ll do at that. I guess we’ll see as the week progresses.
Today’s second question: Where in the world is this photo from? Do you think it’s from Europe or the USA? Answer tomorrow!

I can completely relate to your conundrum. My personality tends toward the stress and get-everything-done approach. But I have been trying to adopt the "breathe-and-one-thing-at-a-time" philosophy. I have found that everything gets done regardless of which method I follow but I enjoy the second path much more.
I am going to vote for USA as the source of the above photo – simply because it looks like Europe 🙂
I vote for USA too. But I really hope it was from somewhere rather exotic and you got lost behind your lens for hours of bliss.

I think easing in is definitely the way to go Kat. You have been so busy over the past month or so! I love this photograph, and I am guessing that it was taken in the States, and my reason is the very same one as Brenda's!! 🙂

Welcome back, Kat. The only thing I plunge into after vacation is laundry. Then the mail – both slow and e. After that I see what's important (like grocery shopping) and do those things first. I like to ease into things, honestly.
The photo could be taken both in Europe and USA, but since it looks so European I would tend to say the US… Perhaps Colorado???
Hope you vacation was wonderful!! Can't wait until you share some of your vacation photos. That being said, I think maybe you took this photo in the USA on vacation because it reminded you of Europe! It's such a lovely shot! I love the worn look of the bench and the textured wall!!
I always ease into things, but through necessity as much as choice. I was ill with M.E. for years and it forced me to adopt a much gentler approach to getting things done. All the important things still get done, but at a pace that leaves me unstressed. Some of the less important things don't get done, but usually that doesn't make a whole lot of difference in the long run.
I'm with Cathy and think you took the pic in the USA because it reminded you of Europe! Nice shot, wherever you took it, and welcome back.
