I went to live in Italy, and I fell in love with scooters. Inexpensive to own, easy to operate, quick to park, flexible to drive in any traffic situation, scooters are a the perfect form of transport in Italy. Classic and new scooters can be found around every turn, and I love to capture them in interesting places. After two years of watching the scooters fly by on the road and capturing them with my camera in the textured streets of Europe, I couldn't resist joining the fray. Upon my return to the US, I purchased my own and learned to ride, continuing my scooter love from art into life. Even now, a scooter sighting will make my day.
