Photo-Heart Connection: November

There is a sense of Emerging.

Moving from one place to another.

Emerging

Coming from a place of certainty. Knowledge. Moving toward something new.

And at the point of Emerging, there is clarity. I see the detail of the moment. I see behind me, my journey to this point.

I cannot see the future, still. It is murky. But it doesn’t matter.

What matters is here. Now. This clarity, at the moment of Emerging.

This image wraps up my month. It has been an month of intense self-reflection. Of looking back to see where I am now. You may not believe it, but almost a year and half after moving back from Italy, I finally feel here. I am in this moment, in this place, settled. Emerging from my past into the new. This has been coming out in my home, in my art, and in my plans for the next year. My craziness in September and October was like holding my breath and powering through. November was a release of long held breath. Breathing deeply, sitting quietly and finding clarity. Emerging seems to be the perfect word.

What did November bring for you? What came out in your Photo-Heart Connection this month? I look forward to reading your experience this month. The linky is open through December 7.

And don’t forget about my invitation to write a guest post on your experience with the Photo-Heart Connection! If you want to participate, they are due December 15. I haven’t received any yet, so you have an excellent chance of being chosen. šŸ™‚ You can find all of the details in last month’s post here.

A sense of emerging! Such a lovely feeling. I like the way you talk about “sitting quietly and finding clarity.” Perfect!
    Have a lovely weekend, Kat.

I love your sense of ’emerging’ . . . the reflections, the leaves, the colors, the feeling of movement all add depth to this image.

Finding clarity is such a wonderful gift isn’t it? I wish you all the best for all the new things that are in store for you.

I have been wanting to contribute for the guest post. I’ve been thinking of it a lot in the past few weeks but haven’t found the time yet. I hope I can find some in the coming days. I will send you an email soon (hopefully :))

It’s great to find a clarity and see the pattern that your experiences are creating. I know it takes a long time to “re-enter’ and feel comfortable at home again. Emerging is a wonderful theme!

I had no idea, absolutely none, with how long re-entry would really take. Did you find the same?

You can certainly see the leaves emerging from the reflection of where they have been…..just awesome…love your connection!!

And P.S. – I’m working on my post to submit to you!

Love that photo Kat. Love all the points in reflection echoing the points in the subject leaf the surrounding leaves slightly blurred. What a fabulous composition.
If I’m not mistaken, it seems you’ve had this sense of something, something unknown, on the horizon before. A theme reflected in your images more than once. I suppose it will reveal itself when its time is its time.
Thank you for continuing the PHC. It is an exercise that offers insight. I like that.

Thank you so much for participating, Susan! It makes it even more worthwhile when I know that others get something from the practice as well.

    Lovely image of emergence.
Especially like the muted colors of the leaves and the dark/light contrast.

Wonderful post, love the image. November has been quite hectic to me, but while writing my photo-heart connection post, somehow I have achieved a new perspective… photos always have that power.
I would love to contribute to the guest post but I haven“t found the time yet. I“ll try to do it this weekend. Kind regards and happy Friday
