The hot air balloons were amazing this weekend. Amazing! I didn’t have much time to edit photos but I wanted to share a couple from the Saturday morning launch. Apparently, conditions were perfect for a mass launch. The sky was clear, there was no wind and there was gorgeous morning sunshine. The whole experience was a lot of fun, from the balloon glow on Friday night to the Saturday and Sunday launches. (Yes, I did get up early both days!)

Love the composition and the way you have focused in close, giving us only a partial view of these colorful balloons. Lovely golden light.

Thanks Brenda! Composition was a matter of grab and go, everything changed so fast as the balloons were all moving. It was fun though!

These were well worth getting up early for….the colorful balloons just beg for photos, don’t they? Next time I expect you will be taking a shot from a hot air balloon, Kat!

I wish! That would be amazing! They only took sponsors for rides. It cost them several thousand dollars for that ride, I’m sure!
