After a delightful Thanksgiving with friends, we packed up our trailer for a weekend away. As we explored a few of the small towns in Southern Oregon this weekend, I started to capture the holiday lights and the Christmas displays. But when I looked at my photos this morning, I decided I’m not quite done with fall. Not just yet. So today you get this happy grinning scarecrow, to extend autumn just a bit longer.
Happy Monday!

Your guy made me smile — I like his attitude! Winter fog has suddenly descended on us! I pulled out the heavy sweaters and wool socks…winter is inevitable, isn’t it?
He is a funny little guy, and I like that red door behind him as well. I’m not done with fall either and blessedly we’ve had some great weather to keep the cheerful gloomy winter moods away.
Happy day to you Kat.
He’s great…I love the red door he’s leaning up against, great shot. Thanks so much for sharing, I’m not quite ready for Christmas to be hear either. I’m truly enjoying the gorgeous Fall colors (as much as I can see here in the desert).
Have a wonderful week.
Bright blessings,
Kathy
He looks like he got into the Christmas eggnog a little early himself! Really adorable. I, too, hate to see Fall go.
What great shots these are Kat!
They make me smile.
Thank you so much for sharing today at The Creative Exchange.
Have a wonderful evening!

Hey, I’m with you – it’s still November after all!
I’m glad you went for the scarecrow- I’m not quite ready to be getting into Christmas. Cute photo!
It looks like a child drew that happy, crooked grin. I too love the red door…and am reluctant to let go of fall.
Great shots! I’m ready for Fall. Oh, yeah…I live in Florida, so I don’t get that season. 🙂
Haha…this makes me smile! Thank you!
Kathy
Even though I am sitting here surrounded by my holiday decorations, including the Christmas tree, I’m okay with not giving up on autumn. Love that door with its rectangle-pattern and lovely brick red color.
What a great find, propped on that great red door!! I’m not ready for fall to be over. I’ve so enjoyed this season; taken tons of photos of fall leaves and acorns! I’d better get ready for winter though, it will be below freezing in Arkansas tonight and the northern part of the state is getting snow!!
Why, it looks like a page from a fashion catalog! : )
