  1. I love the red Vespa photo!! I hope you find room for what you need and want to keep. A garage sale might make for some awesome pics–LOL! 😉

  2. What a perfect setup for you, Kat! I'd like to take that scooter and just drive down the road for a bit. Isn't Portland great? Good luck with the unpacking…

  3. I love that you found vespas in Portland!

Congrats on the arrival of the shipment – it must feel good to have everything together again – even if it is a little messy as you sort through things.

  4. What a gorgeous photo – I love that shiny red! And I never would have guessed to find a vespa in Portland!
Hope everything settles soon – how about a few photos of your garage sale 😉
Well, as I LOVE vespas, of course I can't miss that giveaway 😉 So far I comply with criteria 1-4 (still working on the Night Photography… 😉 )
Have a wonderful day and thanks again for that amazing blog hop!

  5. Oooh…I would love the postcards! I live in Seattle and have only driven through Portland…I've never really explored it. I would love to do that one of these days.

    Enjoy your afternoon!

  6. This is definitely spooky Kat. There is a distinct possibility that these red scooters are alien beings morphing from one place to the next following you wherever you go! The Day of the Scooters by John Wyndham-Lewis. I'm sure I've seen that book somewhere…

  7. Hi Kat,
How cool that you found scooters in Portland. We were in Italy in June and fell in love with them too.

  8. I am a newsletter subscriber and my husband adores scooters. He's thinking of getting one for here in Victoria BC.

  9. What a great photograph this is!
When I was in NYC a couple of weeks ago, I saw a lot of Vespas. I actually remember photographing some and thinking of you. I will have to find them and post them. I love the little red ones!

Thank you so much for sharing this today at The Creative Exchange.

    Have a wonderful evening!

    lisa.

P.S. So glad your container arrived from Italy, even if it does mean disarray for a bit!

  10. I LOVE the postcards! I LOVE European modes of transportation – you could just pick them up and squeeze them they're so tiny and cute! And – I know you think its possible, but I've not once seen a Vespa around where I live in Chicagoland — we all drive big SUVs — it would be a little scary to drive a Vespa in my neighborhood 🙁 Between the snow, the SUVs and the aggressive Chicago driving – you'd be toast on a Vespa! 🙂

  11. Sorry I missed the chance on giveaway, but I loved reading this post. Vespa scooters….in Portland!! Your life is so good. You made me laugh.
I do not envy you the unpacking from Italy, but I bet there will be some lovely surprises in there you'd forgotten about.
You sound so busy and from here I wonder how you do it all. Once I heard a quote…"want something done? Ask a busy person". Apparently the theory is, busy people know how to get things done. I'm wondering about that big space you had designs on setting up as work space for yourself. I hope that is coming along too. Surely there are some pretty pieces from Italy to give it the right feel.
Happy day Kat. I have work to do for FYE, and plan to sign for the next installment too. I'm really enjoying, and learning.
